Terms and Conditions for competitions and raffles organized by Blinkist (Last updated: October 2024).

I. SCOPE OF APPLICATION

This competition or raffle is promoted by Blinks Labs GmbH (Sonnenallee 223, 12059 Berlin, Germany, “Blinkist”) with the help of Tremendous. Winners are requested to provide their email address to Tremendous for the distribution of the winning prize.

The participation of the survey will be deemed as acceptance of these conditions of participation:

II. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

  1. The competition is open to all Blinkist users who have entered, participated, and completed the survey. Banking regulations for specific countries apply.

  2. You can only participate in the survey once every 6 months

  3. You can win one of 3 gift cards of 20 USD/EU/GBP (or equivalent) which will be handed out via Tremendous. Please see Tremendous’ Privacy Policy and Legal terms for details on their service. This cannot be redeemed for a cash alternative.

  4. The winner will be chosen randomly from all submissions each calendar month and will be notified by e-mail within 14 days of the end of each quarter (March, June, September, or December). If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within three (3) days after notification, Blinkist reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner at random.

  5. The draw will take place once at the end of each quarter (end of March, June, Sept & December) drawing for the three (3) preceding months.

  6. As far as participants’ personal data is collected, processed, or used in the context of the survey and the raffle, this happens exclusively to run the survey and the raffle, as well as for contacting the winner. Blinkist will not use this data to contact the participants for any other purposes and will not pass this data onto third parties, except as explained in these T&Cs. Blinkist may reuse the data for its own purposes to the extent permitted by law.

  7. The competition and these conditions of participation will be governed by German law and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Germany. There is no recourse to legal action.
