Absolutely! You have the option to select “Read” on the front cover of each Blink to only open the reader.
If you already started listening to a Blink and would like to switch to just reading, you can follow these steps:

Press pause on the player to stop the audio.
Tap anywhere on the text: this will automatically hide the player and open the full-screen reader.
Just tap anywhere on the screen once again if you wish to re-open the player.
