Yes you can! To control the speed of audio tap the '1.0x' speed button underneath the play/pause button in audio mode. Repeat this step and the audio will change between the options 1.0x, 1.25x, 1.5x, 1.75x and 2.0x. You can also slow it down to 0.5x or 0.75x.
