How can I add and remove learners from a group?

Adding learners to a group

If you wish to bulk add learners to multiple groups at the same time, see the article: Bulk inviting and assigning groups via CSV.

If you're focusing on a single group, you can add learners directly from that group’s management page:

Option 1: Adding learners in manually in the interface

From the Learners & Plans page, click on "Manage Groups" and select the group you wish to edit.

  • Click the "Add Learners" button on the top right corner.

  • Select “Add from emails”.

  • Enter the email addresses of the learners you want to add. You can also include email addresses that are not part of your Blinkist account yet.

  • Click "Confirm".

  • If the learner is already in your organization, they will be added immediately. If they are new, they’ll receive an invitation email, and will be added to the relevant group as soon as they join your account.

Option 2: Using the Group-Specific CSV upload for adding a large list of people to one specific group

  • Click the "Add Learners" button on the top right corner.

  • Select "Add from CSV file".

  • Upload a CSV file that contains only one column with the learners' email addresses.

  • Our system will process the list and automatically assign all valid email addresses to this group.

  • If the learner is already in your organization, they'll be added immediately. If they are new, they’ll receive an invitation email, and will be added to the relevant group as soon as they join your account.


Removing learners from a group

To remove one or more learners from a group, follow these steps:

  • Go to Learners & Plan > Manager Groups,

  • Find the group you'd like to edit, and open it.

  • In the group page, locate the learner(s) you'd like to remove.

  • Tick the checkbox next to their name(s).

  • In the pop-up that appears at the bottom of the screen, select Remove from group.
